Editorial Policy
Last updated: June 2026
MyMacroFit publishes nutrition and fitness content intended to be practical, honest, and grounded in current evidence. This policy explains how our content is created, who writes and reviews it, and how we keep it accurate over time.
1. Who writes our content
Our articles are written by qualified coaches and practitioners, each writing within their area of expertise. Every article carries a visible author byline linking to a full author profile with their credentials and experience.
- Sara Evans — BSc Kinesiology, Certified Personal Trainer (fat loss, macros, training).
- Maya Russo — Registered Health Coach, Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist (women's health, hormones).
- Alex Kim — Certified Nutritionist, Metabolic Health Coach (keto, metabolic health).
- Yasmin Abida — Kinesiotherapist & Pilates Coach (movement, posture, recovery).
- Mortadha Aloulou — Founder, writing first-person weight-loss journey and motivation content.

2. How we research and source
We aim to ground guidance in peer-reviewed research and the positions of recognised health and sports-nutrition bodies, rather than trends. Where we cite a specific claim, we point to the underlying evidence or a reputable authority. Our standing references are listed on our Sources page.
When the evidence is genuinely uncertain or mixed, we say so plainly instead of overstating confidence. We are especially cautious with emerging or commercially hyped topics (for example peptides, supplements, and GLP-1 medications).
3. Review and accuracy
Content is reviewed by a credentialed member of our team before and after publication for accuracy and clarity. Our content is educational and is not a substitute for personalised medical advice — see our Medical & Review Policy.
Calculators use established, published equations. The exact formulas and assumptions are documented on our Calculator Methodology page.
4. Updates and corrections
Nutrition science evolves, and we revise content as understanding improves. If you spot something you believe is inaccurate or out of date, please contact us and we will review it promptly and correct it where warranted.
5. Independence
Some pages contain affiliate links, and we sell our own digital guides. Commercial relationships never dictate our recommendations or conclusions. Full disclosure is on our Disclaimer page.
