MyMacroFit

Medical & Review Policy

Last updated: June 2026

In plain terms: MyMacroFit content is written and reviewed by qualified fitness and nutrition coaches. It is educational, not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for guidance from a doctor or registered dietitian. We do not claim that our content is reviewed by physicians.

1. Who reviews our content

Articles are written and reviewed by credentialed members of our team, each within their area of expertise — for example a kinesiologist and certified personal trainer for training and fat loss, a registered health coach for women's health and hormones, a certified nutritionist for metabolic and keto topics, and a kinesiotherapist for movement and recovery. Credentials are shown on every author profile.

We believe transparency matters more than impressive-sounding claims, so we are explicit about what our team is and isn't: we are experienced coaches and practitioners, not medical doctors. We do not present our content as physician-reviewed.

2. What our content is for

Our articles, calculators, and guides are designed to help generally healthy adults understand nutrition and training and make informed choices. They provide estimates, general principles, and practical strategies — not diagnosis, treatment, or individualised medical or prescriptive advice.

3. When to consult a professional

Please speak to a qualified healthcare provider before acting on our content if you have or suspect a medical condition (including diabetes, PCOS, thyroid or cardiovascular conditions, kidney disease, or a history of disordered eating), are pregnant or breastfeeding, take prescription medication, or are considering medications such as GLP-1 agonists. For anything clinical, your doctor or a registered dietitian — who knows your full history — is the right source.

4. How we handle sensitive topics

For health-sensitive subjects — medications, supplements, medical conditions, pregnancy — we keep the framing conservative, flag uncertainty, and repeatedly direct readers to qualified professionals rather than implying our guidance can replace medical care.
